Brain Tumour Australian

Ben Donohoe was a sport loving intelligent nine year old boy who lived in Canberra with his parents, brother and sister. In June 2005 he was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour and in less than eight weeks, he passed away.

His mother, Robyn, works in administration at Hawker College in the ACT, and supported by her work colleagues, the idea of honouring Ben’s memory became a reality.

Each year a Run and Walk for Fun event is held at Hawker. Proceeds are donated to supporting patients and families with a brain tumour diagnosis and to the Make a Wish Foundation.

The creators of this information site acknowledge with gratitude the financial support of the Donohoe Family. Provision has also been made to ensure the on-going life of this site.

Ben’s smile endures!
